Co-Design Workshop 2: Implementation perspectives for the Öjendorf Agricultural Park

Workshop 2 IÖ

In the second workshop on February 27, 2026, we further specified the future visions for the Öjendorf Agricultural Park developed in the first workshop and translated them into viable implementation steps. Around 35 participants from agriculture, horticulture, planning, administration, research, civil society, project development and district networks worked together on the question of how a multifunctional agricultural park can be structurally, spatially and institutionally anchored.

Key aspects were explored in depth at four thematic working tables:
1. Infrastructure, design and use,
2. Ecosystem services in the agricultural park,
3. Governance and operating models, and
4. Requirements for the planning process.

The workshop results sharpen the development process for Öjendorf and at the same time provide transferable insights for a guideline on urban agriculture in Hamburg and other cities.

The full documentation will follow shortly.
